Dr. Sarah Carr
An East Texas native, Dr. Carr began working as an associate Chiropractor at WCCW in April 2018. She graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in December 2017. Dr. Sarah obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches where she graduated Cum Laude in December of 2011.
Dr. Sarah always knew she wanted to work in a profession where she could be of service to children and families, however, after working as a Pre-K/Kindergarten teacher for a year, she recognized the impact that a child’s health has on their ability to achieve to their greatest potential in the classroom. With the epidemic of childhood disorders at an all time high, such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, auto-immune conditions, allergies and asthma, just to name a few, Dr. Sarah discovered another profession where she could be an advocate for children and families, CHIROPRACTIC! She is currently pursuing multiple certifications from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Away from the office, Dr. Sarah spends her time with her rescued Blue Heeler mix, Rango, converting to a less toxic and minimally wasteful lifestyle, doing CrossFit, two-stepping at Texas Country concerts, up-cycling old furniture, playing in pick up softball and volleyball games, and day dreaming of catching rays on the beach and paddle boarding in Maui.
Senior Rehab & Therapy Tech
Devan has been our senior rehab and therapy tech since she joined the WCCW family in October of 2013. Since beginning and experiencing the wonderful benefits of chiropractic care, Devan has decided she will one day pursue the opportunity to become a Chiropractor herself!
Devan is a proud mother to a beautiful daughter named Kaydence Michelle. Kaydence loves getting her regular adjustments to stay healthy! Devan also has two step-children, Daniel & Emerith.
Family is huge to Devan and that is why all of her spare time is devoted to them. They enjoy being outdoors, playing soccer, hiking in the woods and making sure they catch every new movie that comes out. Being with her family is an ideal day for her.
“Family is the compass that guides us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights and our comfort when we occasionally falter.” – Brad Henry
Jennifer has been overseeing our front desk since March of 2015. She is often the first voice you hear when you call and the first face you see when you walk in our door.
Jennifer says that her greatest blessings are her husband Lance and her three children Cannon, Kalin and Peyton.
In her spare time you can find her spending time with her wonderful family and in fellowship with her church family. She loves to be outside spending time with her children, working in their yard and garden. If she is not outside, you can find she and Kalin tackling a thrifty DIY project – they love all things Pinterest!
